Dr. KC Bugg
K.C. Bugg, Psy.D. is a New York and California state-licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing psychological services to children and adults. He specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for various conditions, including learning disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dementia.
Dr. Bugg also has extensive experience providing psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan, from adolescents to older adults. He works to create an open, non-judgmental space whereby individuals can begin to explore important life questions and develop new ways of being and coping.
He received his doctorate from the Fuller School of Psychology in 2005 and is a member of the American Psychological Association and the New York Psychological Association. He moved to New York from Pasadena, CA, in 2015 to experience all that New York has to offer.
Dr. Tiffany Frank
Tiffany L. Frank, Ph.D. is a New York state licensed psychologist with over 15 years in the field. She received extensive training in psychological testing and has assisted teaching this skill to first year doctoral students. She believes an accurate assessment and treatment plan provides powerful insight and concrete steps to move forward for individuals. She works with Dr. Bugg conducting evaluations to provide direction and awareness to children and adults who struggle with challenges such as, ADHD (and other learning disorders), Autism Spectrum Disorder, and personality difficulties that may be impeding successful navigation of the world.
She also regularly provides psychotherapy to adults and children of all ages and includes family members in treatment as well. She works in person in her office in Astoria, Queens and virtually with patients all over New York State. She values the one-on-one in depth relationship she creates with all of her patients which helps to create change. She is experienced with many issues facing individuals today such as depression, anxiety, grief and relationship difficulties.
Dr. Frank received her doctorate from Adelphi University in 2013 and values the psychodynamic background she gained during her time there. She continues to enrich her clinical knowledge through courses including; Emotion-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Treatment with Autism, and participating in supervision groups, regularly attending conferences and consulting with other clinicians. In her free time, Dr. Frank spends time teaching her 7 year-old goldendoodle Olivia how to talk, crafting with her circuit and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Daniel Clark
Daniel Clark, PhD, BCBA, is licensed psychologist and board certified behavior analyst in New York and Massachusetts. He is an expert in the diagnosis of autism, ADHD, and social and emotional disorders. He has a passion for helping people connect the results of their assessments to meaningful treatment steps they can take to improve their lives or the lives of their loved ones.
Dr. Clark earned his BCBA while working at the Kennedy Krieger Institute of John’s Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Subsequently, he completed his PhD in school psychology at the University of Connecticut. After finishing his internship in clinical psychology at Franciscan Children’s Hospital in Boston, he worked as the clinical director at the May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders. He recently relocated from Boston to New York City.
Dr. Marc Fowler
Marc Fowler, Psy.D. has specialized training in the identification of neuro-developmental disorders, including specific learning disabilities, attention disorders (ADHD), mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and developmental delays. Dr. Fowler also has considerable experience developing 504 plans, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and working closely with IEP teams across elementary, middle, and high school staff.
Dr. Fowler is a licensed psychologist in the State of New York. He earned a doctorate degree in School Psychology from St. John’s University. Dr. Fowler has experience in both school districts and clinical settings, working with children, adolescents, and adults. He utilizes a client-centered approach that focuses on problem solving, as well as maximizing individual performance and psychological functioning.
Adelaida Kelly Mejia, MA
Adelaida Kelly Mejia, M.S, C.A.S., is a NY state-certified bilingual school psychologist and an intern with Dr. KC Bugg and Associates. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, she was an elementary school teacher before moving to the States to pursue her graduate degrees. She earned a master’s degree in school psychology in 2015 from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and she is currently a doctoral candidate in school psychology at Fordham University. Adelaida has worked with multicultural and multilingual diverse populations for over ten years. From inner city districts in Rochester to rural communities in Tucson, AZ, and, of course, her home, the Dominican Republic.
Adelaida is a research practitioner rooted in social justice, cultural awareness, advocacy, and community-building. She has been awarded research grants to support her research projects centralizing the voices of Latinx immigrant families in special education (Holmes Scholarship 2019, Latina 50 Plus Legacy Education Scholarship 2021, Alice Field-McNaclly Reddy Memorial Scholarship 2022, Street Data Mini Grant 2023).
Adelaida is committed to creating intentional spaces to foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. For instance, she led the first and only affinity group for BIPOC graduate students at Fordham University. As an international student, Adelaida understands the systemic barriers attached to her identity as a brown cisgender female scholar. She continuously seeks professional opportunities that allow her to advocate for communities that encounter similar challenges. With a strengths-based approach, she is dedicated to centering her clients’ stories and advocating for their needs.
Madeleine George
Madeleine is the operations manager for Dr. KC Bugg and Associates. She graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University and is now completing her Masters degree from King’s College London.
